Finally! I have had this design in the back of my mind for months and it's finally done and they came out amazing!
I have three 1/4" thick grade 5 (6al-4v) CenterBrass targets available and two minis. For these I did a blood splatter pattern to make these look like something that belongs in a scene from Dexter. Since you can't anodize titanium with red, I chose bronze. It's a great low voltage color that's dark and has a great contrast with the raw silver color of titanium.
Once you put a color on Ti, there's no way to undo it without removing all of the other colors. In order to keep the bronze color on, I had to do the rest with a very, very light blue that looks like raw Ti silver. Because of this, you might catch a blue reflection from them and there's one that turned green instead. Green is the next color in the spectrum after blue so I guess it wanted to stand out a bit and jumped ahead. It actually worked out because it gave me 5 truly unique finishes on these.
No two of these are alike. Each one is different from the rest. Some are not anodized on the back, one doesn't have the Mozambique bullet holes, etc.
Please select the following option when checking out to make sure you get the one you want. If the option isn't listed in the dropdown, someone has already chosen that one.
01: No bullet holes. Blood splatter on front and back.
02: Mozambique with blood splatter on front only.
03: Mozambique with blood splatter on front and back.
04: Mini anodized on front and back.
05: Mini anodized on front only.
And now on to the description:
My latest tool is something I've been working on for quite a while. This is meant to be a statement that you can use to show off your love for the Second Amendment and your love for the hobby. We have been shooting at targets for hundreds of years and now you can finally take one with you in your daily EDC kit.
These measure 2.75" long, 1.5" wide, and a solid 1/4" thick. And they are beefy! When you've got this much brass or copper in your pocket you'll know it. And while these aren't intended to be knucks, you can most certainly use them like you would a roll of quarters. I'm not going to recommend that you smash any skulls with these, but they would definitely do well if you ever need to put someone's attitude in check. Or if you'd like something a little lighter than an anchor from a battleship, they also come in titanium. The target zones are milled, not engraved with a laser, and it will be apparent as soon as you put one of these in your hand that quality was the number one priority when making these.
I didn't want these to be completely for show so I did add a 1/4" wrench to them. Perfect for some extra torque on your screwdriver bits (Leatherman bits fit great also) or you can use it as a lanyard attachment point. Quick tip, my BW45Bead looks amazing when paired with these...
Since I made these the same size as my BWMudder they fit great inside my leather sheaths (aka the BWGarage).
Each one ships in a plain silver Altoids-style tin and includes a certificate of authenticity.
Note for International buyers ... BigCartel requires me calculate shipping for every separate country so what I'm going to do instead is charge $20 and I'll just do a refund for the difference in actual shipping. If you know of a better way please let me know.
And as always, thank you guys for your support. The EDC and shooting communities are made of the absolute best people!!
